Orlando has been involved in residential real estate since 1988. Originally from California, He moved to Austin in 2001. After leaving real estate appraising for 5 years to pursue a career in IT, Orlando decided his true calling is real estate. He is a Texas State Certified Residential Appraiser. Orlando originally joined a local appraisal firm in 2006 to gain experience of the local market prior to founding Appraisal IQ. He has been appraising residential property in Austin, and surrounding central Texas communities and specializes in appraisal assignments which include: vacant lots, acreage, proposed construction, single family residences, condominiums, ranches, high end homes, lake front properties, and 2-4 small income properties, for Conventional and FHA financing.

Alison Shuman Masis
Director of Operations
Alison Shuman Masis is a licensed REALTOR® in Texas. Alison spent 15 years in systems and network administration and technical project management before deciding to finally follow her true passion and make real estate her full-time career. Alison’s time at Morgan Stanley, Sony and AboveNet (a leading Internet Services Provider) as well as local companies Datran Media and Movero Technology prepared her well for her diverse responsibilities at Appraisal IQ. She manages Appraisal IQ’s company website and marketing and provides all manner of appraisal support services. Alison received her BA in Chemistry from Oberlin College.
